Possible Issues with Rotating Security Code

Is there anytime where the rotating security code would cause a problem for you or a merchant or would they have to ask you to submit the card number and expiration and new security code again? And cancel the previous security code they were using?

That is explained in the Related Article that you were reading when you posted here. A merchant is supposed to only check the security code once, the first time you use the card for that merchant if they store your card number. It is a violation of credit card security standards for a merchant to store the security code you entered. However, if they do not store the card number, and you have to enter it each time you make a purchase with that merchant, you would also need to enter the current security code when you enter the card number.
