I just moved to an iPhone 12 from an iPhone 7. Everything migrated well - except for Gmail. When I try to sign in it will not let me. It asks me to add account, but when I choose iCloud it stops, then slows down so much that it is not possible.
How do I set this up?

If you're using Gmail app, redownload it from AppStore.

I have tried this, but the outcome is the same. It asks me to sign in, but then slows down so much that it is not possible.
