Selecting large amounts of text with the Magic Track Pad

Any tips on how to drag things a long way, like a title in iMovie, or selecting large amounts of text with the magic track pad? Sometimes I run out of pad. . .thanks. . . Jim

Not sure why above does not work for you, however, instead of copy paste in small chunks, what you can do is go to the begining of text you want to copy, click there, then scroll down to the end of text you want to copy, PRESS SHIFT and click at the end of the text. This will select all of the text from the initial cursor position to what you click after pressing shift. You can now press cmmd-c and then cmmd-v to where you want to paste.
