How to switch Apple ids on my card to make payments

I need to switch the Apple ID I have on my card since I made a new one on my new phone.

You can't switch the Apple ID on the card. It is tied to the Apple ID used when applying for the card. See if anything here helps.

Set up Apple Card Family and add a co-owner and participants - Apple Support. *
