Shortcuts: Numbers does not show up as an app – no actions present

Hi, I upgraded to Monterey with a clean install. I am trying to create a shortcut that involves the Numbers app. I see several examples in the forums of people adding rows or records to Numbers using Shortcuts, but I don't seem to have any of these actions available in my version of Shortcuts. Am I missing something? or am I missing something? Thanks for any help.
