Pinned email

We understand that in the Mail app on your iPhone, you’re looking for a specific email. Pinning emails is not an option within the Mail app, though you can flag an email. Additionally, this can be called different things based on the service provider for your email account. For example, when going back to look for a flagged email from a Gmail account, it’s listed under ‘Starred’.

The following article goes over how you can filter emails by a specific criteria, such as flagged. See the section titled ‘Filter email’ - Flag and filter emails on iPhone.

Alternatively, you can tap Mailboxes at the top left to see a list of all your mailboxes and under the email account that email is in, check to see if there is a mailbox specifically for flagged/starred/pinned emails. Again, that will depend on your email service provider.
