how do i know my iphone is restoring
How do i know if my iphone is restoring? It's hooked up in recovery mode but there is no indication that it's processing.

We see you used the steps If you see the Restore screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Did you use the steps under the 'Reinstall iOS or iPadOS' section to use the Update option?
At that point you should see the progress indicated on your computer, near where you pressed to Update.
