Beats Solo Pro automatically connect issue

My son uses his Beats Solo Pro’s on my iPad but the headphones keep automatically connecting to my iPhone when I already have a Bluetooth headset connected. I have already changed the settings to when last connected but it continues to switch when I make a call or start a video. How do I fix this? Super annoying!!
