iCloud for Windows

I have just acquired a Windows 10 PC and wish to install iCloud for Windows on it. Apple send me to this Microsoft page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/icloud/9pktq5699m62?rtc=1&activetab=pivot:overviewtab. Clicking the link brings up a page with the message "The thing you are looking for isn't here".

I phoned Apple support who emailed me a link but, guess what, it too is dud,

Is iCloud for Windows still available? If so, where can it be downloaded?

Any help appreciated,

Windows, Windows 6

You can go to a support article from Apple that has the direct link: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204283

There is a place you can click that says “Download iCloud for Windows from the Microsoft Store.” It takes you to this link: https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9PKTQ5699M62

I’m not sure if that is the link you got before, but it works fine for me. If you’re having issues with the link you might want to clear your browser’s cache/cookies.

Thank you for your reply - appreciated.

The link given by Apple was the first one I tried and it led to the error messge. Later, I found another link that did work and I was able to download and install the application.

When I try the link you give, that works correctly as does the published Apple one. Why didn't this work before? I don't know. The PC is new and it's possible that some setting or other that I have changed has solved the problem.
