i’m trying to back up my phone to iCloud. It’s asking me for an Internet network but I don’t have any. Can’t I use the network that comes with my $60 a month Verizon service on my iPhone? I believe the same thing happens when I just want to update my iPhone. It asked for an Internet connection when I already have one on my iPhone that’s included in my service. I don’t understand that

If you have a cellular data plan you can run through limits rather quickly doing things like backups. I don’t really use the iCloud backup much (it’s automatic and I don’t pay for it so all I have is the standard 5GB) but it only does that across Wi-Fi.

It doesn’t sound like Verizon has a Wi-Fi Service any more. You’re going to need to find Wi-Fi somewhere, and there are lots of free ones these days if you’re in a store or restaurant.
