iPhone 8 Plus

I purchased an iPhone 8 Plus and the iCloud lock is coming up with the previous owner account. Is there anyways passed this ?

Ask the seller to remove the lock or give you a refund, or if applicable, ask the store or website you bought it through for a refund. It's an anti-theft measure.
