ATV-ui92 Netflix Apple TV

Apple TV 2 returns  error ATV-ui92 when trying to log on to Netflix. All offered tricks (reset of Apple TV and Netflix pw, time zone change to manual) do not seem to work. Netflix helpdesk tells me to turn to Apple. Any ideas?

Had this problem, too. Very frustrating.

The fix is quite simple, luckily:

  1. Login to your Netflix account via browser, e.g on your Mac.
  2. Go to your account settings, and change the email address associated with your account. USE THE VERY SAME EMAIL ADDRESS YOU HAD.
  3. Now login to Netflix on your Apple TV. Should work right away.

P.S. There is no need to reset/restore your Apple TV to factory settings.

Hello Velodus161,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you are getting an error message when trying to log on to Netflix from your Apple TV.

Great troubleshooting so far. From Settings > General > About, do you see any error messages? When you reset your Apple TV, which steps did you take? If you have not already, restoring your Apple TV may be best. Check out Reset or restore your Apple TV to its factory settings for guidance.

Take care.
