Transfer Playlist from iPhone to Mac without Apple Music

Hello,

Is it possible to transfer a playlist from my iPhone to my Mac without an Apple Music subscription? I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max running iOS 15.2, and a MacBook Pro running Monterey.

I normally transfer music from my Mac to my phone but I've made several changes to some playlists on my phone and would like to overwrite the playlists on my Mac with the ones on my phone.

TIA.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for the information - however I'm not sure that will accomplish what I'm looking for. When I enable sync within the Apple Music app on my Mac, it warns me that it will delete everything (music, movies, etc) from my iPhone. Will it also remove playlists?

Also, I don't have enough room on my phone for my entire music library - I know in the past with iTunes, sync wouldn't work if you couldn't store your entire music library on your phone. Is that still the case?
