How do is transfer Messages to new Iphone to the new one?

Transfers Messages from old Phone to new.

I did it using iCloud to sync messages. (Settings>AppleId>iCloud>Enable Messages)

I had a lot of messages so it took some time.

For me it worked with iMessages, I’m not sure with SMS if it would work.
