Why is my phone number showing a different number ( other people see )

Hello, happy New Years. Whoever is reading this is well.

Basically my phone number comes up an an example “ you care calling from the number “ ( completely wrong phone number)

When I call a couple businesses I use, or insurance, my phone number is read back to me and it’s not my actual phone number. I called a friend and my number appeared fine. It’s just coincidental because it’s 2 places, not just 1.

I know it’s a bit confusing. Thanks Regardless
