Password
my password won’t work on my laptop so I reset my iCloud password using my phone and it’s still not working with a new one. What should I do

Can you post a screen shot of it ( hide out mail address ) .
I don’t have the Apple menu on my screen and it doesn’t let me click on my username. I tried doing a lot of what the internet said but for some reason nothing is there that it tells me to use.
I had to hold the top right button on keyboard I figured it out and have logged back in now but thank you to anyone who offered advice :)
