Hi. I have an apples watch series 2. This was linked to my old iPhone XR. Given security setting for my work email, the watch would only unlock once I unlocked my phone. Well, I upgraded to a new iPhone 13 and now the watch is searching for the old phone/security settings and it’s locked.
is there a way to completely wipe the watch or hard reset it to then link it up to the new phone? At this point it is rendered useless. Thanks!

if your problem is with activation lock then
the activation lock is not really on the watch it's a theft protection measure on apples servers
it needs to be removed
