I purchased a pair of air pods + AppleCare on 12/18/2021. I returned them for a refund on 12/29. How do I get a refund for the apple care?

It was a one time 1 year plan paid for at Costco when I purchased the AirPods.
Read the link I posted, it's one of the first things in the article.
