Wrong Passcode. Try again

How can I get the 4-digits box enable to enter the passcode. After locking the MacBook Air with iCloud, I get the welcome window with the message “This Max has been Locked with find my Mac” but I cannot write the passcode, which I know. If I reset it I get a 60 minutes penalty, and after that I end up in the same situation

Hi, the find my app in icloud, my iphone and other Mac do not present the function "Turn off Lost Mode on a device", just unlock.

When I unlock I get to see the passcode, which I already know, but I am still unable to introduce the 4-digits passcode in the locked mac, since the system dialogue do not show me the 4-digits panel where to introduce the passcode...

cheers,

/Fernando

thanks for your support, but my issue is that the affected mac, does not offer the dialogue requesting the passcode, and consequently I can not attempt to unlock it. I can send as many make a sound, and the window to cancel the sounds shows up, but that is the only interaction that I can get out of the Find My app and Icloud.com

When I boot in recovery mode, I am prompt with a request for the firmware code, that I provide and continue the loading, which ends up with the welcome screen informing about the lock on the mac, without offering any possibility to introduce the 4-digits.

cheers,

/Fernando
