i can't update my itune

how come I can't update the iTunes on my macbook?

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.10

You are likely using the last build supported by your Mac, unless you can upgrade OS X/macOS. This would be iTunes 12.8.1.3 for OS X 10.10 Yosemite. This build isn't compatible with devices running the latest version of iOS.

What model is your mac ? iTunes is not compatible with macOS Big Sur and macOS Monterey
