Photo app crashing with iOS 15

This thing has been crashing and freezing since the last iOS 15 update. (I have the most recent one so no, I don’t need to update it.) There’’ve been countless times I’ve tried to open to the app to take a photo, the whole phone freezes up, the app crashes, and I’ve missed the photo op. I also just recorded an entire dance video only for the app to crash in the last few seconds, thereby not recording a single thing. I’m fed up.

From what I see, it’s not just me having the problem. Has anyone come up with a solution for this? I’m all ears.
