hi all can someone tell me why and how to fix the issue with phone not ringing when the Facebook app is open.

I’m iPhone 11. When I’m in the Facebook app my phone will not ring or vibrate. A banner simply appears at the top showing me a call is coming in. Frustrating as ****. If I were to leave my phone down and walk away into the kitchen for some reason I would never know I had a phone call!
Good evening to all. After the last iOS update my XR is ringing properly when in facebook. It was about time!!
So was mine … for a day.
Now back to not working.
The update hasn’t fixed it. Must be a Facebook thing?
Go to setting. Select Facebook.. Go to notifications and then select Facebook notifications setting.. Go to where you receive notification at the bottom of screen and turn on Push.
Only allows you to turn on push for max of 8 hours.
I checked my Facebook setting and push is already on.
I had the same problem, I think I’ve fixed it by going to Settings / Phone / Incoming calls
Change from Banner to Full Screen
If using earbuds then how do you hear what your listening to when Bluetooth is off ?
After a day or so, it isn't ringing at all while on Facebook. So, the above 'fix' didn't work!
Somebody at Apple please get together with Facebook and Please Fix This!
Resolved after IOS 15.6 update.
