My safari search bar has gone I noticed it this morning and updated my MacBook to the latest update hoping it would fix itself but it has not.

If you right right in the empty space where it should be you should get a menu 'customise toolbar' show. If you open this then you will need to drag the 'address & search' bar back onto the toolbar.

This is odd. Open Safari > Preferences, click on Tabs and switch the Tab Layout back and forth between Compact and Separate to see if it fixes the issue.
