Trade in

Fed ex seems to have misplaced my trade in and the box it was in. Is there a way to get the shipping number that was pre printed on the return box?

Mistake In Shipping Trade In Phone I mistakenly mailed my trade-in at a USPS store instead of a FedEx store. Dropped it in their drop shoot. The USPS person said that erroneously shipped FedEx packages are picked up weekly by FedEx and taken to a large facility but they won't look for my package among those they've picked up and I don't have the tracking #. I suspect eventually FedEx will ship my trade-in iPhone 11 but my time to get it into Apple has just 7 days left. Wouldn't Apple, who created the shipping trade-in package have the tracking # and be able to tell if it's laying in the FedEx facility? Any ideas how I can find out the location of my trade-in?

The tracking number is printed on the receipt from FedEX if you remembered to get one when you dropped off the package. If you do not have that receipt from FedEx, then you are better off contacting ➔ Apple Support
