iPhone Messages has incorrect E-Mail address for Apple ID

iPhone Messages has incorrect E-Mail address for Apple ID so messages are not showing up on iPad and MacBook; has been working fine until last couple of days. How do I correct the E-Mail address?

Can not sign in to Messages with existing Apple ID on MacBook. Never had iPhone. Any idea? Trying to sign in to Messages on MacBook with an existing Apple ID. The sign in does not work. Keeps on going back to the sign in page after a while. I never had an iPhone. The Apple ID works fine in preferences.
