Unable to pair AirPods to iPhone

I’ve gone through all the steps to pair my air pods with my iPhone but it will not work. They had been paired but stopped pairing at some point unknown to me.

The “Other Devices slot is spinning and spinning.

If your AirPods won't connect

If no help, try a full reset
