Bose Sound Dock II

I used to be able to play music from my iPhone XR on my Bose Sound Dock Series 2 using a lightning-to-old-Apple connecter plug. Now I get no sound and, at least once, a message on the phone saying "device not supported".

Anyone know if support for the Bose speaker was suddenly dropped with an iOS update?

My bad, apparently. Disconnecting and reconnecting the Sound Dock solved the problem. Since a light was visible through the front grill, I didn't twig to a power problem. We did have a power outage a couple of days prior to the problem appearing so that may have been the cause.
