Bose Sound Dock II

I used to be able to play music from my iPhone XR on my Bose Sound Dock Series 2 using a lightning-to-old-Apple connecter plug. Now I get no sound and, at least once, a message on the phone saying "device not supported".

Anyone know if support for the Bose speaker was suddenly dropped with an iOS update?

Thanks.

Hello auntiepeanut,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you are unable to play music from your iPhone to your Bose Sound Dock speaker. You get no sound and an occasional message saying "device not supported". We would recommend taking a look at the following support article to address the error message:

Best regards.
