can't click on apps

after receiving a FaceTime call my phone literally stopped working. it was ringing with a blank screen I can't call out or click on any apps none of them are opening. my phone won't even let me turn it off. what do I do?

Text, call, and FaceTime freezes immediately after touching one thing in the app, iphone SE software 15.5. Cannot see any new messages or calls either. Tried every reset.
