My Apple Watch won’t update it keeps pausing

You need to make sure the device is charged to at least 50%, connected to the charger, and the iPhone needs to be connected to stable wi-fi, charged to at least 50%, and also connected to power. If you are seeing a pause, are you seeing this on the iPhone?

See the troubleshooting steps here, Update your Apple Watch - Apple Support and there is a list of additional troubleshooting at the bottom of the support document. Generally, pauses are caused by issues with the wi-fi connection.

I am getting the same installation paused when trying to update my apple watch 7 from 8.1 to 8.3. All of the above requirements are met so I don't understand why it is not installing the update. Can you help or provide a workaround for this?
