Bluetooth connectivity issues since upgrading to ios 15.2

My iPhone 11 pro has never had bluetooth connectivity issues until I recently upgraded to ios 15.2

I now have random problems during the day and it is especially noticeable when driving in my Honda. I used to be able to listen to the music app, stream music and have phone calls via bluetooth without issue. Now at random times, my car will say "searching for device", or the stream, or phone call will be interrupted or dropped.

This is a serious issue. I see many online posts and even an article by Forbes magazine that claims Apple has not even acknowledged the problem. I depend on bluetooth to use my phone safely in the car. When can we expect a fix to this safety issue?

I've contacted Apple support, and they advise they have a large number of people with bluetooth connectivity issues, but no solution at this time. Pretty sad state of affairs, hopefully the next update will resolve the issue. Not sure how this issue got through testing!

Thanks for the tips, but repairing the connection does not appear to help.

It seems odd that this is happening immediately after upgrading to ios15.

It also seems odd that I am not the only one having this trouble after the upgrade.

among many other user complaints, simply google search ios 15 bluetooth connectivity issues.

I was hoping Apple might step up and offer a solution or bugfix.
