I left my MacBook in sleep mode in a cold car for a couple hours, how bad is this?

I left my MacBook Pro 14 in the trunk of my car last night while visiting a friend last night, forgetting that the temperature would drop to about 20 degrees Fahrenheit. It was in sleep mode with a few programs still open. Remembering this, I brought the computer inside and waited a good 24 hours to use it again, even though it had only been about 2 or so hours. Seems to be running fine, but I'm paranoid that I might have messed up haha. How bad of an idea was this?

Take a look at: Keep your Mac notebook within acceptable operating temperatures - Apple Support.

If your Mac is operating OK, it should be fine, however, if you want to make sure, you can always setup a Genius Bar Appointment and have them verify: Get Support.
