My Macbook is not upgrading, everytime I click the option it says, not connected to power, but it is connected to power. Please help me.

If your MacBook Air has intel processor, resetting SMC could solve the issue.

If it doesn't help, try to check your MacBook Air with Apple Diagnostics if it reports battery or power adapter related error.
