low data mode
My iPhone XR says low data mode is on. It is off. I turned it off. This interferes with app updates. How can I truly shut off low data mode. Thanks

To double-check regarding the updates, are you referring to automatic app updates, or are you getting an alert when you try to manually update?
Also, depending on which settings you've checked and your exact setup, you may want to check both cellular data and Wi-Fi Low Data Mode as shown in this link: Use Low Data Mode on your iPhone and iPad
As another possibility, are you using Low Power Mode? This disables automatic updates and a few other functions: Use Low Power Mode to save battery life on your iPhone
