HomePod airplay issue

Has anyone had airplay issue where the 2nd speaker selected will not play? I.e. selecting kitchen. It works. Selecting living room to join in. Interface acts as though it’s working but nothing playing. If I reverse speakers, same issue but in reverse! Very weird! HomePods reset but no change

Homepod stops emitting sound For the last two days, my Homepods (stereo setup) stop emitting sound when playing anything from Apple Music. Airplay works fine. When I ask Siri to play anything, the Homepods play normally for 5 seconds and then nothing, just silence. The Hompods keep showing the + and - signs like if they are playing the song.

BUG: HomePod connected to ATV as airplay speaker will not play radio station This is so weird, it has to be a bug. I airplay movies from my ATV to my HomePods using them as speakers. This is where the weird bug begins Until I restart the ATV, the HomePods cannot play my radio stations: "Hmmm... I cannot create a station based on that..." As soon as I restart the ATV, (the airplay link is broken, I assume) and the HomePod will again play my radio station. Anybody else experiencing this behaviour?

HomePod keeps losing Airplay functionality I've had my HomePod for about a year, and love it. Unfortunately, over the last 6 weeks or so, it's begun to have issues with Airplay connectivity. It's connected to my network and the internet, and if I ask it to play music or whatever, it will. But when I try to play music from my iPhone or my MacBook Pro, it won't show up as an option. The only choice I have is to completely reset the HomePod. But after a few days -- this last time it's only been two days -- the Airplay option will disappear again. It's kind of maddening. Clearly, since it's an issue with both of my devices, it rests with the HomePod, not my phone. Thanks for your thoughts!

When troubleshooting such issues reboot your router and HomePods first.
