HELP!!

I have an iphone 6s (the only apple device I have) and I want to sell it to my friend, but I forgot my apple id password. When I reset everything in the settings of my iphone and it takes me to the new iphone setup process. Like I said, during setup it says "IPhone locked by owner" and its owner is me. Like I said above, I forgot my apple id and I can't login. I used my phone number to get my apple id back but it's impossible because of my Sim I left it in another phone device and it's not from Apple. Thanks for reading, hope Apple support can help me! Thanks! (The apple ID I'm using to ask this question is another apple id I just created)

See if you can recover the ID/password. Use every email address you can think of.

Apple ID - How to find your Apple - An iCloud e-mail address is an Apple ID.

Apple ID - Find -

If you forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.

If necessary, if you are the original owner, contact Apple. Apple can remove the ID if provided the required paperwork to include the original purchase receipt with the serial number on it.

Request additional support for unlocking your device. -

You used to be able to take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store (if it has reopened) and have them remove the ID. This may have changed, so call the store before going to make sure they can help.
