Roblox crash Macbook Air

Recently, Roblox has been freezing my computer and crashing it. After a few minutes or an hour, the game suddenly freezes and the rainbow wheel appears. Afterward, I can't control the computer although the clock continues. I have tried resetting the PRAM, SMC, resetting the computer, and shutting it down. However, the issue doesn't go away. Once I shut down my computer and open it again, my computer works again but crashes when I play Roblox. Do you know what the issue is and if so, what can I do?

Hello Hubobo12,

It sounds like you are experiencing performance issues with a 3rd party app. We understand how important this is to you and we are here to help.

This article can provide some guidance: If an app on your Mac stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

If the issue persists, can you provide a few more details? Which macOS version do you currently have? When did you first notice this? Also, has this app ever worked previously with your Mac?

Cheers!

Hello Kareng12,

I have tried all of the actions suggested in the article in the past and today, but the app still causes my computer to crash. My macOS version is Mojave 12.0.1 and first noticed it after I had my battery replaced (with a 3rd party battery). The app itself was working for around 3 months after the replacement until the app started crashing my macbook. Previously, I have used the app a couple of times and never encountered the issue. Could it be because of the battery (it shouldn't affect performance right)?

Thanks for you help.
