Help! Clicked on phishing attachment in email.

I accidentally clicked on a phishing attachment in an email on my iPhone. So stupid! I know better.

I tried clicking a couple times and the attachment wouldn’t open, which is why I then got suspicious.

From what I can tell it did not open and nothing has been downloaded. I checked my downloads file and combed my apps. I don’t see anything.

I am worried. What else can I do? Where else can I check? I just want to know I’m ok.

Mere clicking on a link does not affect much. Do not divulge any personal credentials. You are safe till then.

Clicking on links merely sends a response to the server hosting the link that a human is present. They can't do anything else except to keep sending such links again and again in the hope that you may give out some info.

Not true, of course apple devices can get hacked just look at pegasus which includes a 0 click exploit. there even are one or two preset exploits for MacBooks on metasploit. but it is quite unlikely to get hacked just from clicking one phishing link.
