This was asked before but the answer did not address the problem precisely.
Question: How do I remove duplicate icons from the desktop of my iPad Pro, without risking deletions the entire Data?
In my case duplicate icons appear on the second and third pages.
I deleted one duplicate icon located on the second page and on the main page the same icon was deleted as well. I had to download the icon then re-register it again.
Some apps on my main page, what you see when starting up iPad, are duplicated on the second page and other apps on the third page.
Ive added images of the pages. First image is my first page, then page two, and then page 3. Duplicated icons are circled.
Please explain in more detail where you are seeing these duplications. Is it "the second and third pages" or "the second page and on the main page"?
If by "the main page" you mean the "App Library" page (displayed last), that page always contains all of your apps, whether they appear on another page or not.
Sorry to have been so long replying. I have no clue what caused that or a better way to fix it. I was hoping that somebody else would come along who recognizes the situation.
