Applecare+ For Ipad .. Pencil / Keyboard

I have added Applecare+ to a iPad Air 4th Gen which my daughter has, I also wanted to add her pencil and didn't allow me to add to policy when purchased.

these were purchased same day different shops one online purchase for pencil and iPad order via apple support due to not being available online in time for Christmas


How can I add the Pencil and if I buy an Apple Keyboard can I add to the policy ?


as this is stated in the literature online.

I have been successful in sorting the Applecare+ for the iPad air, I pay £69 one of fee, Yesterday...


Today I had confirmation (this can take upto 48hrs) that I have an active agreement and policy number, Now its up and running I called apple care support and gave the serial number of the pencil I bought from Apple online, that will be used with the iPad Air this also has been added to the policy !


I initial bought the iPad over the phone with Apple and collected from a store, a few days after the purchase I bought the Pencil online to be delivered early Dec 21.


These were gifts and to ensure they were not going to be return, I waited to till after Christmas to add Apple Care + this was a fairly easy process although I got mixed message how to do and what would be covered ...


Well its what's advertised on the www site cover for iPad Pencil and Keyboard (apple products) I didn't buy my products together and the initial policy sits on the iPad you add you input devices to that .. simple ! and if i buy an apple keyboard in next few weeks I can add that to the Policy, I can only assume its added to policy and will not change the end date.. the policy is already set dates for start and finish !

not the answer I wanted and considering the chap said on the phone today at apple support only one item can be added not both and I need to wait for 24-48 hours before being able to add pencil !


the info on the AppleCare+ on the website doesn't specify some of the most important info like this !


I will call apple again after 24-48 hours.
