still won't pair

I used an Apple Watch series 3 with my iPhone 7 Plus before the screen got broken, so before I could fix my watch? I had to sell my phone and get the iPhone X. Then I fixed my watch and now it won't pair with my new phone saying "Your Apple Watch could not pair with your iPhone". Please help me so it won't go to waste.

Without a receipt you have a real problem,see this;

Go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in with your Apple ID and password. A list of your recent purchases appears. From here, you can view a receipt, request a refund, or report a problem with an item


Or;

You would want to contact Apple Store on the phone and ask them to email copy of the receipt to you again. You will have to verify yourself by providing some transaction details and you will want to verify precise spelling of your email. Phone number can be found at www.Apple.com/retail

You can ask apple to remove the activation lock online on this page;

Online Activation Lock Removal Tool.

Or this;

If you can't remember/gain access to the apple id that paired the watch to the phone.Take the watch and it's receipt along with some photo id and any other proof of ownership to an Apple Store and request that they remove the Activation Lock for you.
