Bottom of 2021 Macbook Pro screen flickering out of the box

I just received my brand new MacBook Pro today. I bought it for traveling this month and I'm being devastated that it arrived broken. There are black strobe-like lines across approximately an inch of the bottom of the screen; completely blotting out the dock. I had to move the dock to the right side just to see my apps. When the dock was at the bottom, a line moved across marking the movement across the apps underneath. Very strange.
