Stolen device not sure how to proceed

Okay so in November my iPhone se 2020 messed up so I did warranty replacement but by the time I got the replacement I had changed number and email..so I was emailing back n forth with Apple to try to recover or update my information but then fi ally agyer 1 month waiting on FedEx they finally sent me the replacement but I was dealing with personal issues and so I was going to wait till after the 2 funerals that came up..I did open the fed ex box but never opened the apple replacement box and or anything and then the phone magically disappeared and I never even had gotten to turn it on to set it up.. so I can't use find my or Amy of those options but I do have the s/n and imei and FedEx package and I believe I have an estimate of when the device got missing..I just need a guidance on hw to handle all this..

If the device was not even activated by you then there are only two things that can be done.

Report the incidence to local law enforcement authorities.
Contact FedEx and report the issue with all the evidence that is with you.

I understand that you never had the opportunity to set up the iPhone and therefore using the Find My app is not an option. The serial number and IMEI information is not going to help in locating that iPhone. Unfortunately, you are in a position whereby you are not going to be able to track/locate your iPhone digitally.

You have no chance of locating it digitally because the iPhone is now under the other person's Apple ID and at present, that iPhone is not yours.

You can take your receipts and your Serial Number etc and just show it to the person and see whether s/he returns it back to you.

also ill be taking all emails details numbers info etc to the sherriffs office 1st thing in morning..i wont press charges becaue hes special bn i have family who is as well so i know how they can be but im going to get them to scare him so he doesnt do it to anyone else..

Actually ijusydid..it was in zip format then extract that the it's in exe. Format used converter add on on my Linux device then a file manager I paid.for..even Samsung and Apple will say it can be done

had to create new accont i changed device numbers and locked myself out of my other account..but im on the phone with fedex and then going to handle it using law enforcement..it was on 246.99$ but still..but do u have time for another quick guiadance?tip

You cannot use an iPhone’s iTunes backup to restore to an Android device. Your iPhone’s backup file, created with iTunes, can only be used to restore another iPhone.

What you may be interested in is the ➡️ Samsung Smart Switch app.

I personally know the guy who didt t and he had a lot of issues more mental and I wouldn't feel right if I got laws ivolved..any other ideas?
