Looking at getting Apple TV and would like to know if the audio from the TV, can be routed through the Apple TV box, so that it can be listened to through Bluetooth Headphones connected to the Apple TV box, if that makes sense.

For content received through the Apple TV box (4th generation or later), you can connect bluetooth headphones. If the headphones are Apple or Beats, then you may connect two sets to the Apple TV 4K model. Listening to headphones cuts off other audio (TV speakers, receiver).

You can’t route audio via the Apple TV box to headphones for content from other devices (direct antenna cable, cable tuner box, game console, DVD set-top box, etc.). For content from other devices, you would be better off with a bluetooth transmitter connected to the TV.

Thanks for that, but I'm not sure it answers my question, I will try to be more specific.
If I'm watching terrestrial TV can this audio be routed through the Apple TV box and listened to through connected Bluetooth Headphone?
