Set up "Hey Siri" to help Siri recognize your voice

  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap Siri & Search.
  • Turn off Listen for "Hey Siri," then turn it back on.
  • When the Set Up "Hey Siri" screen appears, tap Continue.
  • Say each command that you see on your screen.
  • Tap Done.

SranKrA,

Thanks for your response however I tried this and it didn't work. My phone is an iPhone 8 plus given to me by my son who said it was working fine when he upgraded. I believe the problem is with the phone or the software as when I turn the " Hey Siri " on it immediately turns back off. Whenever I go to the settings the Hey Siri is always off.

I’ve done all these things multiple times. They don’t work. It’s my brand new HomePod and brand new iPhone 13 all at up to date.

it’s will recognize my wife’s voice but not mine.

originally it looped thru the say these siri commands non stop. Shutting down both devices stopped that.

now I try all these things listed: it goes thru the set as normal but the HomePod won’t recognize me.
