How to change apple ID on the TV app

I have the apple TV app. It is asking me for my apple ID then username. I entered the wrong apple ID and it won't let me correct it. I have turned the TV off but once I try to go onto the app and sign in it still has my incorrect apple id present and asking me for my user name which doesn't work since the apple ID is incorrect.
