McDonalds App Not Accepting Apple Pay

This morning I went to grab breakfast at McDonalds. I opened the app, did the order like normal and when I clicked on the Apple Pay option and entered my passcode I got this error when trying to process the payment:

Apple Pay Is Not Available In “McDonald’s”

I turned the phone on and off and uninstalls and then reinstalled the McDonalds App. Im using the latest iPhone update as of Jan 6, 2022. The McDonalds app is also up to date. Is there a way to add permissions?

PLEASE HELP
