Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

I got a new Mac. I want to migrate the old Mac to an easy store and not move anything to the new Mac. Can i do that?

I got a new Mac. I want to migrate the old Mac to an easy store and not move anything to the new Mac. Can i do that?

When I go to Migrate I only see how to move from the drive to the computer.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.


If you mean store data on an external drive and not move to the new Mac, yes, you can do that. Simply Drag and drop items on Mac - Apple Support to the right external drive to store the data.
