Beats Flex Power Button Frozen Stiff. Any Fixes?

The power button on a set of Beats Flex that I bought as a gift has frozen solid after two uses.

i.e. There is no give in the power button. It does not depress 0.5mm when pressed. It is locked solid. However pressing down hard on the power button still has the correct effect even though the button does not move. It still turns the unit on, off and pairs, but you have to press exceedingly hard on the frozen button to get the device to react. Much harder than should be necessary. I know this because I have my own pair which the power button works normally and depresses half a mm or so when pressed. Not much thumb power is needed.

Before I return them to the big distributor in the sky who's name begins with A....

Is there anyone else reading this who has had a similar problem with the physical properties of the power button on these headphones?

I can't imagine anyone has a fix for this problem. Hopefully they will be accepted back as faulty, despite still functioning.... if you press the frozen button super hard.

Interested to know how others fare...
