Reminder notifications don't show up on apple watch

Hi, my apple watch SE, on watchOS 8.3, does not give me notifications for my reminders. I have checked all the settings, both on my phone and apple watch/watch app, and they all have notifications for reminders allowed. I googled this and I found out that when you get a reminder notification you watch will "subtly but noticeably on the wrist." (igotoffer.com, n.d.) This is not happening on my watch as I am not getting notified at all.


Is it because I set the reminder on my phone? Though, I can see all my phone reminders on my watch.


Any help will be greatly appreciated.

To get started, are you only having issues with Reminder notifications, or have you noticed any issues with receiving notifications for other apps as well?


Is your iPhone usually unlocked when this issue occurs? If so, then you would not receive a notification on your Apple Watch, and you'll get notifications on your iPhone instead. If your iPhone is locked or asleep, and your Apple Watch isn't locked with a passcode, then you would receive notifications on your Apple Watch instead.

If you're not receiving notifications as expected from the information stated above, as additional troubleshooting we'd like to have you try creating a reminder on your Apple Watch with the steps listed in the following resource, then test the issue again: Set and respond to reminders on Apple Watch - Apple Support
